  17. Have  you  ever  used  the  Internet?  If  so,  you've probably
  18. encountered  ZIP and other compressed files.  Are you a Windows
  19. user? If  so, PowerArchiver is the way to handle these archived
  20. files.

  22. PowerArchiver  brings  the  convenience  of Windows to the  use
  23. of many archive files. Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000 XP and 2003
  24. Server versions  are  shipped  on   the   same  disk.  Some  of  
  25. PowerArchiver features include:

  27. Windows 32-bit support. PowerArchiver  includes  long  filename
  28. support   and   complete    integration   with    the   Windows
  29. 9x/NT/ME/2000/XP/2003 shell.

  31. Full  Windows  XP  support.  When  running  under  Windows  XP,
  32. PowerArchiver operates as a native Windows XP program. There is
  33. no need to set compatibility mode.

  36. and  creating  archives  directly from  Explorer using powerful
  37. EXPLORER SHELL EXTENSIONS.

  44. Built-in  100%   PKZIP-compatible  ZIP  and  UNZIP (PKZIP   and
  45. PKUNZIP are  NOT  required  for  any  zipping   or    unzipping
  46. operations), built-in  support  for  creating  7-ZIP, LHA, CAB,  
  47. TAR, TAR.GZ, TAR.BZ2   and  BH (BlakHole) archives and built-in
  48. support   for reading and extracting RAR (including  new RAR v3
  49. format),  ARJ,  ARC,  ACE (including new ACE v2  format),  ZOO,
  50. BZIP2   and  GZ archive (NO external programs are required  for
  51. any operation).  Also reading   and    extracting from  various
  52. different SFX archives  (ZIP SFX,  CAB SFX,  RAR SFX, ARJ  SFX,
  53. ACE SFX, ARC SFX, LHA SFX) is supported.

  55. Support for new PKZIP 4.5 format  that enables  you  to  create
  56. extra large ZIP archives  (over 4 GB).  Also  support  for  new
  57. Deflate64 compression algorithm for better compression results.

  59. Support for  creating  archives  using  PKZip 5.1 AES enryption 
  60. standard  and  extracting  archives   using  both PKZip 5.1 and 
  61. WinZip 9.0 AES encryption standards. All  key  sizes  (128, 192 
  62. and 256 bit) are supported.

  64. Support for   UNICODE   filenames   on   Windows  2000/XP/2003. 
  65. Open/Extract RAR and  7-ZIP  archives  with  UNICODE  filenames 
  66. without problems.
